Integrative Psychiatry

I specialize in providing integrative psychiatry services tailored to the unique mental health needs of women. I work collaboratively with you to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your well-being.

Integrative psychiatry combines conventional psychiatry with evidence-informed holistic approaches to create a comprehensive treatment plan. This approach recognizes the intricate connection between the mind, body, and spirit, and works to address all aspects of your health. Treatment plans may include any combination of the following options listed below.

Medication Management

Integrative psychiatry means using medications as one tool in your treatment while using holistic strategies to provide extra support. We will work to find the best medication regimen with the least side effects.

Supplements/Nutraceuticals

I can help you utilize nutritional supplements to optimize your mental health. If you are already on supplements, I can help you optimize it by making sure you are taking the right supplements and dose as well as ensure there are no dangerous interactions between medications and supplements you are taking.

Nutritional Psychiatry

Nutritional psychiatry focuses on the connection between nutrition and mental health. We understand that nutrition plays a vital role in managing mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. By addressing nutrient imbalances, inflammatory responses, and gut health, we can help improve mental clarity, stabilize mood, and support long-term emotional health.

Lab Testing

We will run comprehensive labs to address your nutrient levels and some hormones so we can correct any deficiencies that may be contributing to mental health symptoms. We may also order genetic testing to predict your response to specific medications and optimize your medication regimen.

Psychotherapy

I draw from various schools of thought including acceptance commitment therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and self-compassion practices. I will listen to you and hear your story, and help with tools and insight to help move you towards improved knowledge of yourself and better relationships with others.
